MTC SCB (Small Calibre Ballistic) Reticule

One of the biggest problems with scopes on small calibre, i.e. air and rimfire, is the lack of aim points when the trajectory gets loopy.  Modern accuracy is such that an air rifle can be accurate to 65 yards+ at 12ft/lbs and a rimfire out to 100 but you have to aim in the right place.  Mil dots are too far apart, designed to gauge a man sized target.  If you use smaller gradations you end up with a cluttered reticule, impossible to use with illumination or at lower magnification.  This will also render the scope useless for long distance shooting with a flat round like a .17HMR.  Another problem with long distance air is windage,  when combined with trajectory this is a major problem because when you aim off you lose the elevation mark on your vertical reticule.  The Christmas tree ladder configuration on the reticule compensates for this.

We have designed what we believe to be probably the most versatile small calibre reticule yet produced. The MTC-SCB

An incredible amount of aim points with a floating cross for clear and accurate target acquisition on small targets.  The 1 mil dot square around the cross gives a rapid acquisition for small fast moving targets such as rats.  When shooting at small targets or when bullet drop becomes critical the versatility of the reticule becomes clear.  In this example the aiming marks are given for a .177 12ft/lb air rifle,  the use and principle us the same for a .22 air rifle, FAC air rifle at longer distances or even a Rimfire and HMR.
